Patrick C. Closson
Patrick is a corporate and transactional lawyer who helps clients form, grow, and sell their businesses, and works with his clients to solve challenging problems with practical solutions. Patrick works with clients in five main areas: general corporate law, healthcare law matters, mergers and acquisitions, complex contracts, and succession planning.
As Chair of the firm’s Health Care Practice Group, Patrick and his team support physicians, physician group, dentists and other professionals in governance, compliance and acquisition and sale transactions. Noteworthy healthcare transactions include representing a health care client in negotiations of a $550 million Medicaid managed care contract, and representing the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office in connection with the review of a one billion dollar hospital merger transaction. Patrick currently represents several large independent physician and dental practices.

John D. Colucci
John has a dual background as both an attorney and CPA. This unique skill set gives John a differentiating perspective and depth of understanding of the legal issues necessary for protecting a growing business, as well as the financial drivers of operating and sustaining a successful company. John’s ability to communicate complex legal and business issues clearly, concisely and simply is a hallmark of his work, as is his easy manner, yet no-nonsense style in effectively managing business and legal matters for his clients.
John’s clients range from start-up companies to large multi-owner private and publicly traded corporations. John has extensive experience in all areas of commercial transactions and business operations, and practices in the areas of business law, tax law, estate and business succession planning and real estate.

Charla Bizios Stevens
Charla is the Chair of the firm’s Employment Law Practice Group. Charla also practices in the Education and Health Care practice groups at McLane Middleton. She has extensive background addressing litigated and non-litigated employment issues such as discrimination, harassment, employee classification and wage and hour claims. She assists employers in responding to labor audits, preparing personnel policies and minimizing risk in the hiring, discipline and termination of employees. She conducts management and harassment training and works with employers to maintain legal compliance in a cost-efficient and effective way.
She has a diverse health care practice representing physician practice groups, health centers, mental health practitioners and ancillary providers regarding compliance, licensing, discipline and other issues.

Jesse S. Angeley
Jesse is an associate in the corporate department where he regularly advises business clients on a wide array of issues, including entity formation, contract drafting, review, and negotiation, asset purchase and real estate transactions, and commercial leasing matters.
Prior to joining McLane Middleton in 2015, Jesse was an associate attorney at a well-established North Shore firm, serving the legal needs of small and medium-sized businesses, and gained extensive business litigation experience on a variety of matters, including employee noncompetition/non-solicitation issues, breach of contract, employee termination, and real estate disputes.
